HOW TO USE

Simply spoon brellow onto a hot surface, and wait for it to melt. Then cook. Use in the same way you would butter, tallow, ghee or lard.

It will last up to a month when stored at room temperature, but it’s shelf life can be extended to 2 years when stored in the fridge.

What is the difference between Tallow and Brellow?
Tallow is made from rendering beef suet (the fat around the kidney). Brellow is made from rendering the fat skimmed from the top of a beef broth pot. Brellow has the same properties as tallow but with the added flavour and nutrients of beef bone broth throughout.

Where did the name Brellow come from?
That was our own creation.... a combo of the words beef broth and tallow. Others may refer to it as broth fat, broth butter or some even call it tallow, but tallow is technically reserved for rendered suet only.

I had never heard of brellow before, but decided to try it and added a jar to one of my orders. and wow it’s so beautifully aromatic and fragrant, and the flavor that it adds to my cooking is just lovely!
